The Latino Family Fund de Gilroy is proud to launch a new grant model that strengthens our mission to advocate for, partner with, and uplift Gilroy’s Latino community.
Guided by our 2024 Strategic Plan and the Santa Clara County Latino Health Assessment—part of the County’s new initiative to better understand and address the needs of Latino residents—this model focuses on fewer, larger grants, awarding three organizations with $5,000 each to create deeper, long-term impact.
The assessment revealed key priorities for Latino families in Santa Clara County, including the need for culturally responsive mental and behavioral health services, affordable and stable housing, expanded youth opportunities such as mentorship and leadership development, improved access to education and language services, and healing programs grounded in cultural identity and community resilience. These findings shaped our funding priorities and reaffirmed our commitment to investing in equity, opportunity, and leadership for Gilroy’s Latino youth and families.
